Supervision

Telekom-Control Commission was established under the Telecommunications Act (TKG) of 1997 as the regulatory authority for the Austrian telecommunications market. For more information on the organization and responsibilities of Telekom-Control Commission and RTR-GmbH, please refer to the section About us.

When the Signature Act went into effect on January 1, 2000, the Telekom-Control Commission was also assigned responsibility as supervisory authority for electronic signatures.
