Information for certification-service-providers

Under § 6 of the Signature Act, all certification-service-providers are required to report their services immediately to the supervisory authority. Changes of the offered services (e. g. offering additional services) or the suspension of services must be notified, too. Especially for providers that do not issue qualified certificates nor wish to provide secure electronic signature services, the supervisory authority has prepared a document with information about the duty of notification according to the Signature Act. - Due to the high demands made on these services, providers that wish to offer qualified certificates or secure electronic signatures are advised to contact us as early as possible.
